Students who receive a grade below what is expected may elect to take a retest. The retest procedure is as follows:
To be eligible to retest, a students must have completed all the homework assigned for the given unit. The required homework should be corrected and turned the day of the original test for that specific unit.
Original test correctives must be completed showing all work and turned in.
The online “Application to Retest” assignment should be completed and submitted to the classroom teacher one day prior to the retest. (Usually given on Thursdays at lunch)
Once the application has been turned in and reviewed by the classroom teacher, the student must attend the lunch time session to retake the test.
The student will be aware that after-school help is available and will utilize this free service once agreed upon by the parents. This after-school help should help the student be more prepared for the retest. Questions are encouraged by the student to better understand the concept of the specified unit.
Science Tests will not require this retest form. Science retests will be given in class one week after class review.
